Our Advanced Medical Team & Holistic Approach

We offer day-to-day care that is tailored to the individual needs of each client.

Within 24-72 hours of admission, a biopsy is performed by the clinical director and a full psychiatric assessment is performed by a psychiatrist.

A Medical Doctor performs a complete physical exam and checkup within 7 days of intake.

We use a multidisciplinary approach, including cutting-edge genetic screening, to identify the right medication for each patient based on their genetic makeup and psychiatric diagnosis.

Clients get complete blood tests to check for vitamin deficiencies and other conditions that can affect their health.

Treatment planning, also known as discharge planning, starts as soon as the first week of treatment.

Each client has a one-on-one session per week, and family counselling is also included in the treatment plan.

Depending on the client’s schedule, dynamic and creative group counselling is available 3 – 5 days per week.

We provide case management services on a case-by-case basis.

We also provide massage therapy, yoga and equine therapy.

With our ongoing aftercare program, we have a strong support structure for our clients, including an extensive alumni and recovery community network.

I’ve been in recovery for over a year now and have met a lot of people along the way. Stuart and Wilbur are genuine about wanting to help someone struggling with alcohol or drugs. Me being one of them. I’ve seen a few sober houses along the way and Calusa recovery is by far the best sober living I’ve come across. They show you how to have fun in recovery and live life sober. The houses they have are awesome and clean! Highly recommend them. It changed my life!

      Nancy M.

Calusa Recovery was recommended to us as being a top sober living home. Meeting Stuart, Wilbur, and the impeccable house confirmed this to be true. Stuart and Wilbur are truly invested in all aspects of their clients’ recovery. We value their collaborative approach with clients and family.

One of America’s most easily accessible substances is alcohol. You’ll find some form of alcoholic drink in almost every grocery store, restaurant, or bar. The problem with alcohol is that it’s easy for people to become addicted to it.

Alcoholism can wreak havoc on your body. The longer you’re addicted to alcohol, the worse your health will be and the more difficult it will be for you to recover. The easiest way to help a person with alcoholism is to understand alcoholism, the symptoms of alcoholism, and how to find an alcohol rehab center in Florida.

Calusa Recovery is a comprehensive drug and behavioral health treatment facility serving the Florida drug and behavioral health community. There are literally thousands of addictive substances on the planet. Some are legal and available to anyone who wants to use them. Others are illegal because of their addictive nature or the effects they produce. Some drugs fall into their own categories but are equally dangerous and addictive.

Cocaine is one of those drugs. Despite being illegal and highly addictive, cocaine remains one of the most commonly used drugs in Florida. Cocaine addiction can lead to serious consequences and is extremely difficult to break. The best way to break a cocaine addiction is to find a cocaine rehabilitation center in Florida.

But before someone can enter rehab, they need to know if they’re addicted to cocaine. How addictive is cocaine? What are the signs of cocaine addiction? These are questions we’ll answer for you, so you can help your loved one kick their addiction and get back on the road to sobriety.

Calusa Recovery isn’t just one of the best addiction treatment facilities in Florida for cocaine addiction treatment. We also offer specialized programs based on specific needs. For example, we offer inpatient Florida rehab stays that emphasize safety and medical care, or we have a program specifically designed for teens and young adults that address the unique issues and barriers that young people face in addiction.

When you think of substance abuse, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the number of people dependent on illegal drugs. Whether it’s heroin, methamphetamines, or cocaine, there’s no doubt that there are people addicted to these drugs. But there are also people addicted to prescription drugs like xanax.

At first, misuse of xanax may not appear to be very damaging; however, as time goes on, xanax misuse can quickly develop into xanax addiction, which in turn can lead to xanax addiction. A xanax addiction can seriously harm your health and well-being, as well as break up your relationships with your family and friends. If you have a xanax addiction in your life, you don’t have to hide it or feel ashamed; you can seek help to quit at our xanax rehab center in Florida.

Since xanax is not considered a ‘hard drug’, many users may not be aware that they are addicted to xanax, or may mistakenly believe that their xanax addiction is minor. However, chronic abuse of xanax can result in several physical, psychological, and emotional side effects over time.

At Calusa Recovery, our goal is to help you take control of your life and learn life-saving skills that will help you stay sober for the rest of your life. Whether you are recovering from substance abuse or mental health issues, Calusa Recovery is here to help you live a happier, healthier life.
